'Bama lawmaker
Has strong opinions on pay
Say the news reports:

Teachers must be called
Not attracted by higher pay
Or quality falls

But legislators
Must be paid highly enough
So bribes don't tempt them

Clearly his teachers
Were paid insufficiently
Darn Republicans
